One Frio is a young, fast-growing network in temperature-controlled food logistics — formed by bringing together strong family businesses across the Netherlands and Ireland (Grolleman Coldstore, Nedcool, Coenen Boxmeer, HK Logistics, McCulla, Granville and KOG). We provide reliable cold storage, warehousing, order picking, transport and end-to-end logistics for food products. As we integrate several companies into one group, there’s real room to influence how things are done.

The Role

We are hiring a General Manager to lead our HK Logistics operations in Zelhem. HK Logistics is a high-volume, multi-shift cold storage site handling a diverse mix of temperature-controlled food products. You will own the full P&L, lead several hundred people across a multi-shift environment, manage senior customer relationships, and drive a clear performance and transformation agenda, all within the structure and standards of the One Frio group.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a complex site within a fast-growing pan-European platform, and to shape the next phase of its performance, people and systems. It’s a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on running real operations, building strong teams, and delivering measurable results.

You’re a pragmatic, execution-focused leader with the credibility to build trust quickly with teams, customers and group stakeholders.

What you will do

• Own site financial performance. Budget, forecast, control costs and improve margin for the site’s full P&L.

• Run multi-shift operations. Lead end-to-end operations across a multi-shift, multi-commodity environment, and drive throughput, efficiency and continuous improvement across the site.

• Build the team. Build and develop a strong management team and a performance-driven culture, and shape the right organisational structure for the next phase of growth.

• Own customer and compliance standards. Act as the senior point of contact for key customers, and ensure full compliance with food safety and H&S standards (HACCP, BRC and equivalents).

• Lead systems implementation. Lead WMS and broader systems implementation on site, in line with the One Frio operating model.

What you will bring

• Proven track record as a General Manager, Site Director or Operations Director, ideally from cold storage, food logistics or a comparable high-volume, regulated environment

• Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen

• Experience running large-scale, multi-shift operations

• A track record of professionalising, scaling or transforming operations

• Hands-on experience with WMS and operational systems implementations

• A strong food safety and H&S mindset

• Fluent Dutch and English
